Glaucidium palmatum var. Leucanthum. ‘Album’ ( Japanese Wood Poppy)

Late spring bloomer with crisp snowy white papery poppy-like blooms set against large maple shaped leaves. Bridging the gap between early ephemerals and summer blooms. Rarely seen and such a beautiful addition to a shady nook or woodland garden. 2ft.tall and will form a larger clump over time. Happiest in rich, moist soil in part shade. Try pairing with Japanese Primula for cheerful spring display. Zone 3-8
