Sambucus nigra Black Tower ‘Eiffell’ Elderberry

This new elderberry has a garden friendly, narrow columnar growth habit. Fragrant clusters of frothy, flat-topped bright pink flowers in Summer, just in time for a butterfly and bumble party. The big pink flowers give the bush a tiered effect and look magnificent set against the dark plum foliage. Zone 4-9 Full sun-part shade. A colorful hardy alternative to Japanese maples. Edible berries and flowers (when cooked) Deciduous shrub that makes a great fast growing hedge or privacy screen.
