Golden Shadows has 4″ irridescent lime-green leaves, broadly edged in gold.  In Spring fragrant, white clusters of flower bracts look beautiful set atop tiered branches. Dark blue, edible, but mealy fruit appears in Fall as the foliage turns a reddish purple shade. 10′-12′ ft tall and 6′-8′ wide. Considered a large shrub or small tree. Perfect for lighting up a shady area. Prefers rich soil in part shade. Needs protection from hot afternoon sun. Deciduous. Bee and Songbird friendly. Zones 3-7
