Lonicera ‘Yezberry® Maxie™’

Carefree easy to grow, delicious and hardy. Actually a non-invasive relative in the Honeysuckle family..Similar to Russian Honeyberries, but sweeter and less tart. Maxie has the largest fruit available of any Haskop. Yellow flowers in Spring are followed by plump,tasty blue berries rich in vitamins and antioxidants. Tastes like a combination of raspberry, plum and blueberry. The fruit is about the size of a big olive. Tasty fresh or processed into juice, jam, syrup or cooked into muffins. Produces more numerous and larger berries if planted with Maxie Yezberry. They are exceptionally cold hardy and thrive in a wide variety of soil types. Zone 3-8 Full-part sun 5′-6′.
