Erica Cinerea ‘Purple Beauty’

We can thank Mr. and Mrs. Letts, a British couple who discovered this Summer flowering Erica growing wild in Cornwall. Purple Beauty has Pinkish-purple flowers all summer into fall on a mounded evergreen shrublet with dark green needlelike foliage that looks handsome all year. Looks wonderful at the front of the border, as a low hedge, edging or rockery. The bees and butterflies will have a party all summer. Full sun to part shade. Needs excellent drainage. Ht 1-2 ftx 3 ft. Evergreen Zone 6-8
